What rotations can I apply?
You can rotate images left or right in 90-degree steps and flip them horizontally or vertically. Quarter turns are useful for camera and scan orientation, while flips mirror the existing composition across one axis.
Do width and height swap after rotation?
Yes, after a 90-degree or 270-degree turn, the output width becomes the source height and the output height becomes the source width. A 180-degree result keeps the same canvas dimensions as the original.
Does rotating crop the image?
No. Quarter-turn rotation preserves the complete rectangular image and adjusts the canvas orientation to contain it. This tool does not perform arbitrary-angle straightening, which can require cropping around diagonal edges.
