Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ResizeBento, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the website or its tools. If you use ResizeBento on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.

Description of the Service

ResizeBento provides browser-based image processing tools. Available features may include Resize, Crop, Compress, Convert, DPI tools, PDF creation, and Remove Background.

The current core tools can be used without an account. ResizeBento does not currently offer public accounts, subscriptions, paid plans, or payment features. These Terms do not create a promise that any particular feature will remain free or available permanently.

Local Processing and Browser Storage

Images are generally processed on your device in your browser. Depending on the tool, a Workspace, source files, editing settings, task status, and generated image or PDF results may be stored in browser storage to support processing, refresh recovery, downloads, and Continue Editing.

You are responsible for downloading, checking, backing up, and keeping results you need. Clearing browser data, using private browsing, reaching browser storage limits, automatic browser cleanup, software changes, or device failure may cause tasks and results to be lost. ResizeBento does not guarantee that every locally stored task or result can be recovered.

User Images and Ownership

Images and other files that you select for processing are referred to as “User Images” in these Terms.

You retain your lawful rights in User Images, other input content you own, and output results to the extent those rights exist under applicable law. ResizeBento does not acquire ownership of your images merely because you use the tools.

You must have the rights or permission needed to process each image and use each output. You are responsible for the content and legality of your images and for how you use the results. You must not use ResizeBento to infringe copyright, privacy, publicity, portrait, trademark, or other rights.

Acceptable Use

You must not use ResizeBento to:

• Violate applicable law or facilitate unlawful conduct.
• Infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
• Create, distribute, or transmit malware or other harmful material.
• Attack, probe, scan, disrupt, overload, or interfere with the website or its providers.
• Circumvent access restrictions, request limits, or security measures.
• Automate abusive submissions to the Feedback endpoint.
• Attempt to obtain server credentials, secrets, or other protected information.
• Make excessive, destructive, deceptive, or fraudulent requests.

ResizeBento may use proportionate technical measures to prevent or limit suspected abuse.

Feedback

You may choose to submit a feedback message and an optional email address. Do not submit passwords, payment information, identity documents, sensitive health information, or other unnecessary sensitive information through Feedback.

If you submit product suggestions or ideas, you give ResizeBento permission to review and use those suggestions to operate and improve the service without an obligation to compensate you. This permission applies to the suggestions and opinions you intentionally submit; it does not transfer ownership of User Images processed with the tools.

Remove Background and AI Results

Remove Background uses an automated AI model that runs on your device. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, inconsistent, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. You must inspect results before relying on them, publishing them, or using them commercially.

Availability and performance may depend on the device, browser, Worker support, WebAssembly, WebGPU, memory, storage, and network connection. ResizeBento may use WebGPU when available and a different local backend as a fallback. It does not guarantee the same backend, speed, or result on every device.

Third-Party Services

ResizeBento uses or may use Cloudflare, Google Analytics, Plausible Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Hugging Face. These providers are governed by their own terms, policies, availability, and technical limits.

An interruption, change, restriction, or discontinuation by a third-party provider may affect ResizeBento. ResizeBento does not control every action, policy, security measure, data practice, or service decision of a third party.

Service Availability and Changes

ResizeBento may add, change, suspend, restrict, or remove features. The service may be unavailable because of maintenance, errors, browser changes, network conditions, security events, third-party services, or other causes. ResizeBento does not guarantee permanent, uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free availability.

ResizeBento may restrict requests or access that appear malicious, abusive, unlawful, fraudulent, or disruptive. It does not promise advance notice for every feature or availability change, but will provide notice where required by applicable law.

Intellectual Property

ResizeBento or its licensors own the rights in the website code, ResizeBento brand, page design, written content, icons, and interface elements, except for material identified as belonging to others. These Terms do not grant you a right to copy, sell, misrepresent, or misuse those materials beyond what applicable law permits.

You retain the rights described above in your User Images, input content you lawfully control, and lawful output results. Third-party models, libraries, services, names, and trademarks remain the property of their respective rights holders and may be subject to separate licenses or terms.

Disclaimers

ResizeBento and its tools are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, ResizeBento disclaims warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, remedy, or consumer right that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

ResizeBento does not guarantee that output dimensions, file size, compression, image quality, color, transparency, metadata, DPI information, PDF layout, or AI results will satisfy every professional or technical requirement. You must verify outputs before using them for printing, publishing, legal documents, official identification, regulated materials, or commercial workflows.

ResizeBento also does not guarantee that browser storage will keep local data indefinitely or that a third-party model, script, network, or service will remain available.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ResizeBento will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential losses arising from or related to use of the service. This may include loss of local data, lost results, output errors, lost profits, business interruption, device or browser incompatibility, or third-party service unavailability.

Some laws do not permit the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties, consumer remedies, or liabilities. In those places, these limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

Termination or Restricted Access

ResizeBento may restrict or block access associated with abuse, attacks, unlawful conduct, attempts to bypass security, or material violations of these Terms. Because the current public tools do not use user accounts, these Terms do not describe account closure or account deletion.

You may stop using ResizeBento at any time. You may also clear ResizeBento site data from your browser and delete downloaded files from your device.

Changes to These Terms

ResizeBento may update these Terms as the service, third-party providers, or applicable requirements change. The date displayed at the top of this page identifies the latest revision.

Your continued use of ResizeBento after updated Terms take effect indicates acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law. This does not replace any additional notice or consent that applicable law may require.
